Russian artist Sergey Katran is working on the boundary between science and art.

He was born in Nikopol on 1970. Now he is living and working in Moscow.

He participated in 3d Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (Sleeping District special project) and in Museum Night 2010 (Sanatorium of Arts project in the State Tretyakov Gallery).

The first version of Gravitational Time Compactor was presented in the total installation “Sleeping District. Open Lesson” on 2010.

Fibonacci Chair installation was presented in State Center of Contemporary Art within Visual Scores exhibition, devoted to the jubilee of composer Vladimr Martynov.

Martis object was presented within the collective project “Forms of Life. Comeback to Reality” in the State Tretyakov Gallery on May 2011.

InTime project was presented in Sankt-Petersburg by AL Gallery on July 2011.
