Biography

Artist’s biography

  • Born in 1958, in Ufa. Since 1993 lives and works in Saint-Petersburg.
  • 1983 Graduated from the State Arts Institute in Ufa , the faculty of easel painting.
  • 1983–1993 Worked as stage manager (art director) in different theaters of Russia . Has designed more than thirty theater performances.
  • 1992 Six months lived and worked in Alaska, as a guest of Aleutian Corporation of Saint Paulisland, according to a personal invitation of the island's governor, Mr. Larry Merkuleff.
  • Since 1996 he is a member of St.-Petersburg department of the Artists' Union of Russia.
  • 1996, June Has won a grant of the American Fund of artists' support, “The Pollock - Krasner Foundation” (on a competitive basis).
  • Since 1996 Devotes himself to the book graphic arts. In the same year was awarded inMoscow with the Second degree Diploma of the All-Russian competition of Children's book “Paternal home”.
